T-Mobile’s OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is now receiving an update that brings the phone up to the May security patch. The OTA coming is a build number 10.0.35.HD61CB.

In T-Mobile’s software update charts, the changelog only mentions “5G band enhancements” and it complies with Google’s May security patches. The update officially became available on Friday and should be available for download now.
To manually check for an update, head to the Settings > System > System Updates.
Last month we learned that Motorola will unveil two new smartphones at the end of Q2 2020, dubbed One Fusion and One Fusion+. Motorola hasn't divulged anything about these devices yet, but YouTube has revealed key specs and release date of the One Fusion+.
YouTube has listed the Motorola One Fusion+ on its Device Report site with Snapdragon 730 SoC, which contradicts last month's leak that claimed the smartphone will have a Snapdragon 675 chipset at the helm.
The One Fusion+ will sport a 6.5" 1080p display, run Android 10 out of the box, and pack a 5,000 mAh battery. The listing claims that One Fusion+ will be released in June 2020, but it doesn't reveal the exact date.
The listing also includes an image of a Motorola smartphone, which is actually the Motorola Edge and not the One Fusion+. However, Motorola Edge's listing includes an image of an unknown smartphone, which could be the One Fusion+. It's possible that YouTube mistakenly swapped the pictures of both smartphones.
The image reveals the smartphone will pack a quad camera setup on the back with a 64MP main unit. It will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, with a USB-C port located at the bottom with the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Upon closer inspection of the picture, you can also see that the smartphone's display doesn't have a notch or a punch hole for the selfie camera, meaning it will be likely mounted on a pop-up mechanism.
Other things we can discern from the image are the power button and volume rocker placed on the right side of the smartphone. They are joined by an additional button whose purpose is unknown.
The Motorola One Fusion+ is rumored to come with 4/6GB RAM, 64/128GB storage, and have two color options - Cloud and SugarFrost.
We'll likely hear more about the Motorola One Fusion and One Fusion+ in the coming weeks.
Samsung Galaxy Note20 appeared in CAD-based renders last week, and now it is time for the Galaxy Note20+. The same source Pigtou_ reveals this phone will be slightly bigger than the Galaxy Note20, which is hardly a surprise. However, the camera design is a bit different, but the leakster makes no claim what any of the shooters are.
The Samsung Galaxy Note20+ will be 165 mm tall, 77.2 mm wide, and just 7.6 mm thick at the base (10.7 mm with the camera). This would make it slightly taller than the predecessor Samsung Galaxy Note10+ while keeping the other measures pretty much the same. The phone will remain with flat top and bottom and curved edges of the front and back panel.
The front will have a single punch-hole camera in the center, while the power key and the volume rocker will be on the right side - apparently positioning them on the left side on the Note10 family wasn’t a success. Also, the abomination called Bixby button appears to be gone for good, and thank goodness.
Specs-wise, so far we have only rumors that the Note20 Plus will have better cameras than its non-Plus sibling. We expect the phone to appear in August, and Samsung might do an online-only event due to the current situation.
One of the first solid evidence that the Oppo Reno4 5G and Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is in the works leaked yesterday but aside from a couple of features and official Oppo posters, nothing else was disclosed. Luckily, today's leak is big enough to give us a good idea of what to expect, not only from the vanilla model but from the Pro version as well. And the seemingly official renders are quite revealing too.
Starting with the alleged specs of the Pro, we have a Snapdragon 765G chipset running the show paired with either 8GB/128GB or 12GB/256GB memory. The display is 6.55" big and it's curved to the sides. The module on the back consists of a 48MP main camera with OIS, 12MP dedicated shooter for low-light videos (as per the rough Google translation) and a 13MP telephoto lens with no specifics provided. The front camera is 32MP. The battery should be 4,000 mAh for both variations with support for 65W fast charging.
The non-pro alternative is roughly the same but misses on the OIS for the main cam, an 8MP ultra-wide one replaces the dedicated video unit and the telephoto is swapped for a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, however, in addition to the 32MP main sensor, there's also a 2MP one likely used for depth information. The screen itself is slightly smaller at 6.43" and judging by the specs sheet, this one's going to be flat. On the memory front, the 8GB/128GB option is still at hand, but the one with the 256GB internal storage comes with 8GB of RAM.
The leaked images and the teaser video shared by Oppo seem to be depicting the same Reno4 Pro - single punch-hole camera on the front, curved display, triple-camera island in the upper left corner of the back, no 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom and the mysterious fourth sensor on the back, which we saw yesterday, appears to be laser focus.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro also has a pretty intriguing chipset from MediaTek that we haven't seen a lot of in other devices, so we were curious to see how it would perform in day to day life compared to the Snapdragons of the world - and especially, of course, compared to mid-range Snapdragons. Our previous long-term review was of the Mi Note 10 which uses what can still be described as Qualcomm's premier upper mid-range offering that doesn't have 5G baked in, and we were curious to see how these might compare - away from the labs and standardized testing and benchmarks.
This long-term review will hit on that in the Performance section, but it won't be an all-out comparison because that wouldn't be fair. After all, the Redmi is around half the price of the Mi Note 10, and price (specifically, the price per features ratio) is one of its main selling points, whereas the Note was more a showcase of how far Xiaomi has come in terms of camera systems.
